- How to Measure Your Ring Size at Home Method 1: Use a Ring Sizer Tool
Materials needed: Plastic ring sizer or paper ring strip. Instructions:
Slide the sizer onto your finger.
Adjust it until it fits comfortably but snugly. Note the size indicated by the arrow on the sizer. Method 2: Measure with a String or Paper Strip
Materials needed: String or thin strip of paper, ruler, and pen. Instructions:
Wrap the string/paper around the base of the finger where the ring will sit. Mark the spot where the ends overlap.
Flatten the string or strip and measure the length in millimeters (mm). Compare with the sizing chart below.

Measure your finger at the end of the day when it is largest.
Avoid measuring your finger when it is cold; fingers tend to shrink in low temperatures. Make sure the size allows the ring to comfortably slide over your knuckle.
For wide bands, consider choosing a half size larger to ensure a comfortable fit.
